Archer Wind offers engineering and project management services to the growing global floating offshore wind industry. With around 30 engineers, our core offering is to provide management and engineering for fabrication and assembly of the next-generation floating substructure for wind turbines. The lightweight substructure is designed by US- and French-based technology company Ocergy Inc. and is well suited for cost-efficient serial production. The foundation modules are fabricated using subcontractors, before being assembled quayside in ports close to the wind farm.
Archer Wind performs studies, front-end projects and engineering contracts on behalf of some the world’s largest energy companies and have been downselected as the preferred supplier by several wind farm developers and consortiums. Our aim is to industrialize the acceleration of floating offshore wind internationally.
