Archer ROMAR Ditch Magnet Systems are developed to safely remove metallic debris from circulating fluid. Applications include conventional & directional drilling, whipstock operations, cased hole multi-lateral sidetracks and small milling operations.
We have developed a family of systems, designed to optimize performance while maximizing safety:
- EZ-CLEAN MAGNOROD® system magnets offer major safety advantages over conventional bar magnets. Sharp metal debris is removed by simply retracting the handle on each rod, no manual scrapping of debris is required. Each rod weighs only 3.5 Kg, thus reducing the risk of back injury.
- MAGNOGRID® system magnets provide a highly cost-effective solution, and can be applied in areas with restricted space.
- MAGNOGRID® Fork magnets can be supplied with a long handle, allowing easy placement in deep rig flow-lines. These can also be rapidly placed increase magnetic coverage, for example on bottoms up from the milling of cased hole windows or whip-stock jobs.
- EZ-CLEAN MAGNOROD® Filter Tanks, give customers a stand-alone, tank based solution for the surface circulation of fluids in mud plants, mud tanks or where there is insufficient open flow line space for additional ditch magnets.
